The bitterness is distinctly herbal - Saaz doing its thing - but the palate feels a bit hollow. Aroma follows suit: that same herbal quality and not much else going on.

Can, 4.5%. Mild floral hop aroma. Hazy dark golden, orange colour. Big stable rocky white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter, and there is a touch of burnt plastic, I think. Less floral hops in the flavour than in the aroma, but there is a little.

Der nächste alkoholfreie Sommer-Radler 🚵♂️. Dismal recht klassisch mit Zitrone 🍋 und Limette 🍋🟩.

Can picked up from Globus hypermarket Ceské Budêjovice and consumed at home Sunday 28th June 2026 after a pleasant few hours at Eging am See in the company of Viktor and Maria, we had a lovely time including swimming in the lake. Listening to Chalk - Crystalpunk. Pours hazy yellow/gold with a mid sized white head. Fresh, crisp, plenty of hoppiness, it's is refreshing and summery and surprisingly dry at the end. A very good beer. Score: 7.3

Unter dem Titel BirGo gibt die ehrwürdige Budweiser Brauerei eine neue Reihe an alkoholfreien Radlern 🚴 heraus.
Mein erster ist dieser mit Mango 🥭 und Limette 🍋🟩. Es ist ein spritziges Getränk für den Sommer 🥵, das nicht zu schwer und süß ist. Bittere Aromen findet man aber nicht.

Tap at Polepšovna with Gurhtnar. Ooooh, this one has been a matter of controversy, with some people with a palate claiming it's okay, but with some other people, also with a palate, claiming it had technical issues... I was at that point ready for whatever. Gurthnar was quite happy about the cans, so he got it (which suited me just fine hahah). But... eh. It was not to be, and his unhappy reaction with it was a big hint. Clear golden body, off-whtie head. Heavy aroma, unusual sweetish lime, almost detergent-like in a way, bit herbal-spicy. Fun enough. The taste, though... Lean, dry, ending bitter, mixing lemon-lime citrus notes with chloro, maybe polyphenols not really hiding too much. Finishes with a weird warming touch... Sadly, this is problematic - and it's still fresh. Now, I can't guess the cause for the medicinal notes at this level - and why they allegedly didn't affect some of the stock, but I worry about those it did when it's a bit older...

Dark brown with a big frothy tan head and brown sugar and floral notes on the nose. Moderately fizzy, some roasted malt, some coffee and sweet chocolate, grassy hop bitterness and a dry bitter finish.
