In my point of view, it is an average beer free of alcool, fairly bitter, herbal, some malt, watery, not great but acceptable, 28.01.18, at Hoofdroop.

Tasting it again, yesterday, at home, at midday, preparing the food for the children. A promotion in the denner, happy to find a beer like thay, in Switzerland but it won't be for a long time, smooth and a bit roasty, touch of sweetness, bitter, 05.10.24

On tap at Curious Gnome, Chester. Pours a straw yellow with a medium sized foamy almost white head and good lacing. There’s sugar, honey and malts in the aroma. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a little underlying sharpness. Initial flavour has malts, corn and biscuits with some citrus, bitterness and alcoholic strength coming through later. Finish is slightly sharp. Overall this is decent, but still disappointing. Given the quality of the standard beer I was expecting something special.

Sampled at Billies. Clear darker golden color, small to average sized white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, straw, malty bitter, firm bitterness and some hops coming through. Solid! 9-7,5-7,5-8-7,5

Transparent, deep golden colour, the slightest orangeish hue. Average sized white head, good enough retention, pretty much no lacing. Average intensity in the aroma: hay and crackery malts base, a relatively vivid grassy hops presence, a hint of fruitiness (something kind of in between citric and overripe, hard to pick something specific though), also a sort of dry/tannic background feel. Taste notes more or less follow the aroma: average intensity, a well defined taste profile, not much depth/complexity; gets indeed quite dry/tannic in finish and aftertaste, with a bit of metallic taste showing up (though in check); a hint of alcohol is detectable, doesn't seem to bring warmth though. Medium body, average or slightly below average carbonation; drinks quite easy for the abv, sort of feels like a very neutral mouthfeel. Dunno: the overall impression is somehow worse than the sum of it's parts; certainly better than the common industrial strong lager, but still doesn't feel like a proper, finely made beer.

Sampled at Billies day 1. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, a bit dusty bitter, dusty grainy though very balanced and pleasant lager. 8-7-8-8-7

Draught Small cream head over cola-coloured beer. Chestnut, nutty, dark & chocolate malts. Dry-woody flaovur, dried chocolate. Light body, Medium carbonation at best. Good dark lager, at least it's still there.

Tap at Billies. Clear golden. Crisp sweet malts, dank marihuana hops, crisp bread crust. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied, siper crisp. Noice.
