The brewing history in Budweis (České Budějovice) starts in 1265. The Budějovický Budvar brewery was founded in 1895. We have been using the name Budvar since 1930 and own a protected trademark.

Pours clear golden with a fluffy head. Sweet-ish aroma with notes of corn, tobacco and cookie dough. Thin and sharp mouth feel. Taste is tin and corn with a slight touch of hops.

Il gusto al naso resta attratto dall'orzo tostato. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore color beige è caratterizzato da una schiuma che resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore del liquido è ebano. Il corpo è pieno. Il dolce è medio in buona armonia con l'amaro medio. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di caramello, miele, biscotto, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, frutta secca e agrumi.

From tap @ Slovensko pije pivo in Pezinok May edition. Head is big, white, good retention. Colour is gold, hazy. Aroma is malty, citrus, yuzu, nice hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, citrus, grapefruit, bit raw hop, herbal hoppy, long lasting prominent bitterness, medium carbonation, nice bitter, enjoyed.

Green bottle, blue label, purchased and drunk in Iseo reading Kane. Nice Pils nose, a wee bit lightstruck I assume on purpose. Slight grain flavor, super thin body, but good smooth earthy bitterness. Refreshing!

0,5 boks fra avholdsavdelingen i Verksgata, delt med Daglig Leder: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Vannsmak tilsatt litt lys malt og citrus. Tynne saker med sylkort ettersmak. Lavkvalitets industriprodukt.

Poured from 500mL can (from Liquor Mart Burnaby 6th St). Very dark brown with full beige head. Light dark roast and dark sugars, quite basic, not a lot of depth, hint of metallic notes. Average.

Smell of cardboard. Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt, paper, grass. Cardboard in finish. Lightly bitter. Lively carbon.

Pours clear blonde. Scent is pronounced, very different than the original. More toned down, touch of vanilla almost. Taste is sharp, bitter, pronounced coockie dough. bready. Quite wonderfull !
