33 cl bottle. Best before April '23, so this is an older bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, toasted notes, liquorice, and red berries. Subtle Christmas spices - coriander and star aniseed. Not too hot on the spices. The taste is sweet. Medium body. Drying fruity spiced finish. A nice effort to make a Christmas beer.

Bottle 50 cl. Pors a cloudy, nutty brown with a smallish and roughish off-white head. Fint roast and caramel in the nose. Medium body, sweet crystal malts, a hint of nuts, roast and smoke. Do I sense the chestnut flour? Not really. Not a bad Brown Ale at all. 281022
