Bottled. A reddish beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of citrus and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of fruit and berries, while the body is thin - surprisingly. Thanks to yespr for getting this seldom beer.

Draft. A slightly hazy amber beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with flowery notes of hops as well as a touch of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and flowery notes of hops, leading to a medium bitter finish. I was told, that this was merely a cask version of the IPA.

Bottle. (thx Papsoe) Clear, copper pour with a beige head. Malty-sweet nose with some alcohol, dried fruits and a hint of plum. Sweet flavor with caramel, some alcohol, a little fruityness and a cellarish and yeasty note. Full body and a warming and sweet finish. Quite nice, but not outstanding, but sure a beer for the fall and winter. (071004)

Bottle. Alc. 4.2%. Light unclear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, grapefruit, lime, light malty, toasted. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (091007)

Bottle. Reddish brown pour, with a dense, beige head. The aroma is quite piney and hoppy, and lacks the maltyness I expected, but it is still nice. The flavor is quite hoppy as well, with pine and bitterness and some sweetness, finishing quite bitter and piney for a bock. Medium body. It is not the typical bock, it is too hoppy for that, but it is quite nice. I don’t think it’s the kind of bock I will buy again though. (070928)

Draft. A hazy deep red beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy - especially cardemomme, but also notes of caramel and alcohol. The flavor is very sweet mlaty and very spicy again cardemomme being the strongest, combined with notes of wood and alcohol. The alcohol grows in intensity towards the end.

(On tap) Beautiful, clear dark brown with a warm, reddish hue and a dense, light brown head leaving a wee lacework. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt. Medium body, rich in sweet, roasted malt and a whiff of licorice. Ends with a surprising hop bitterness that really builds up on your palate. Yet another solid offering from Herslev. 161007

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautifu, almost clear, warm, reddish amber with an off-white head. Delicate floral aroma with some roasted malt notes as well. Quite full-bodied with a very solid base of roasted malt and sweetish caramel. Subdued bitterness. A very well made and harmonious Bock. 041007
