Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Powerfull hoppy and light malty aroma. Honey-notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average nice moderate bitter finish. Slightly acetic in a very good way. Oily and a little "stickey" (syruply) palate. Really strange but nice brew.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Discreet aroma of malt. Medium-body with very fresh flowery notes and a very interesting spiciness from the meadowsweet. Somewhat astringent quinine-like bitter finish. 310807

(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 2 Aug 2007) Orange colour, slightly cloudy, with brief white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with apricots, raspberries and grassy hops. Malty taste with strained fruit, notes of apricots. Rather dry, harsh bitterness in the finish. Nice balance, lots of taste.

Sample from bottle at Slagelse Danske øl Festival and several times before from bottle. Pours almost clear orange/yellow with a white head. Grainy, corn and slight malt aroma. Fruity hoppy flavour semi sweet/dry, nice balance with an underlying malt flavour. Dry bitter finish. One of my favourite danish pilsners.
