Bottle 50 cl The Herslev Pilsner is a dark, amber coloured, unfiltered beer with a huge, lively and stable head. Distinct hoppy aroma and hoppy flavours on a very solid, malty base. Incredibly tasty for a pilsener with a lovely freshness. 091004
On tap. As "Herslev Magnum Pilsner" - a dryhopped version at the Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010.
On tap. Hazy golden with a dense white head leaving laces. Intensely fresh hop aroma - very grassy. Medium-bodied, very malty and somewhat biscuity with a distinctly bitter finish. 7/3/6/3/14= 3.3 080510

(Bottle 50 cl) 170 kilos of cherries added for a 1000 litres of beer. Reddish orange beer with an impressive, huge head. The cherry impression is definitely there both in aroma and flavour, but it’s not overwhelming and this could actually do with a bit more sweetness. Brewmaster Tore Jørgensen tells that the ale yeast ale ate all the fruit-sugars - next time he’ll use a less aggressive yeast. 021004

(Bottle 50 cl) Deep orange golden with a head that collapses a bit fast but never vanishes completely. Extremely fruity nose from the wheat esters. Flavours also full of fresh fruit and an immense complexity. A bit more bitter than your typical Hefeweizens, but this easily competes with some of the best German examples of the style. A yummy surprise. 130504

(Bottle 50 cl) Pretty, slightly hazy, amber coloured beer with a small, fine, creamy head. Very intense bitterness, but at the same time very crisp and aromatic. A bit low in carbonation, but an interesting debut from Herslev. 050504

Hazy ruby, good tanned head. Woody hoppy nose. Carbonated mouthfeel. Woody, hoppy, sweetish lollipop flavor. Mildly hoppy aftertaste. Kind of sweetened British-type ale.

[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] An unclear orange beer with a small white head. The aroma is of eggs and diacethyl - not very inviting. But if You pass the aroma and start drinking it, the flavor is much better, it is sweet malty with notes of hops and spices, leading to a dry end with notes of citrus and hops.
