Bottle, bryg 3. Anis and orange fruit in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with anis, orange peels and coreander. Hops are restricted to the background, although noticeable. Somewhat sugary. Mango. Powerful and tasty beer, although a bit too sweet, but the balance is good and the alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle, brew # 16. Roast and licorice in the aroma. Malty flavor, medium bodied. Light roast flavor with "stoofpeertjes" (pears cooked in white wine). Hints of coffee and cinnamon. Very pleasant beer, both tasty and thrist quenching.

Tasted @ EBF 2008. Dark brown color. Very fruity aroma. Raspberry, plums and a hint of vanilla. Sweet malty flavor with oak, vanilla, cherry and plums. Some alcohol in the background. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel, but otherwise very well balanced.

From bottle @ EBF 2008. Pinkish red color. Marzipan, cherries, just a bit vinous aroma. Thin. Sweetish cherry flavor, indeed almost vinous. Likeable.
