Bottle brought back from Denmark, many thanks to Maarten! 6 December 2018. Best before: 14/11/18. Pours clear orange with a quickly thinning, off-white head. Aroma of cheese, old bread, rather dank, ripe apple & orange, bordering on mouldy, mango, lime juice, onions. Taste is light fruity sweet, hints of overripe orange & apple, faintly estery too; light to medium hoppy bitter with grassy notes, some mango & orange rind, but dominated by a dank bready, yeasty & cheesy overtone. Dry, yeasty, grassy hoppy finish, lingering bitter fruit peel. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Okay, it was expired, but something more agreeable should have remained...

From tap. Pours hazy orange to brown. Small off white head. Aroma is boozy and berry. Wooden. Thick wooden, acetone and berries. Thick, oily, wooden and acetone. Been aged too long.

Draught @ SKAAL, Kultorvet 11, Copenhagen, Denmark 1175. [ As Herslev Double IPA ].ABV: 8.3%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, old hops - hay, light grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity malt, pale malt, sweet malt, citrus - grapefruit, old hops - hay. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [ As Herslev Farmers Winter Saison ].Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, hay, straw, moderate yeasty, horseblanket, leather, funky, saison yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, farmyard, saison yeast, hay, straw, sweet mat - sweet yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle brought back from Denmark, many thanks to Maarten! Pours hazy dark brown to black with a lasitng, frothy, beige head; some lacing. Aroma of orange peel, lemon zest, fondant, walnut, toast, Pim's biscuits, blackcurrant, pink grapefruit. Light malty sweet onset, quite nutty with a chocolate note; quickly turning to a medium hoppy bitter middle that has orange zest & grapefruit, toasty edge, sour accent of lemon zest. Dry, piney hoppy finish, lingering toast & fondant. Medium body, slick/creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Not the supplest of Dark IPAs but good.

Bottle from HJ Hansen. Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of bread and fresh grain, hay and herbs and a hint of fruit. Dry malty flavour with good grassy and herbal hoppy character and a fine, bitter finish.

Fra fat på Blågårds Apotek nov-18: utmerket følge til kammerjazzen med Kjeld Lauritsens Trio! Lett uklar gylden ravfarge med fint skum som varer. Julekrydder, appelsinmarmelade, milde urter. Saftig munnfølelse. Fin, krydret bitterhed i afslutningen.
