About
Troy Casey began Casey Brewing and Blending in the fall of 2013 with the idea of creating a blendery (a facility that doesn’t have a brewery themselves, but still makes beer) in the Roaring Fork Valley, a place where he and his fiancé had recently decided to make their home. After searching for the perfect location for their barrel cellar, they found their current spot in South Glenwood right on the Roaring Fork River. Troy first began brewing sour and wild beer in 2009 and it quickly took over all of his brewing interest. This all culminated with the creation of Casey Brewing and Blending, a place where Troy will be able to create blends his way.

Bottle from Tavour: pours reddish with a whitish head. Aroma is mationberry I suppose which reminds me a lot of raspberry. Some vinegar and funk as well. Taste is somewhat sour. Not overly acidic. Pretty fruity.

Pint can. Pineapple aroma with notes of guava, passion fruit, papaya, orange, tangerine and grapefruit. Pours hazy golden-orange colored with a large white head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with juicy pineapple, guava, orange and tangerine flavors. Finishes smooth but a touch dry with passionfruit, papaya and grapefruit flavors. Juicy and delicious. Excellent hazy.

Pint can. Orange citrus aroma with notes of grassy hops, floral hops, grapefruit, pine resin, tangerine and pineapple. Pours hazy golden colored with a finger of white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with juicy orange, grassy hops, floral hops and pineapple flavors. Finishes dry but still smooth with tangerine, grapefruit and pine resiny hop flavors. Good hazy pale.

Butterscotch, orange cream, bready yeast, and light rose. Sweet and malty, with a very mellow, dusty bitterness. Light, smooth, and clean. Beautifully light and clean. Delightful.

A- Gold color, clear liquid, no head.
A- Apricot, peach, juicy, slightly sour.
F- Ripe peach, juicy, mild vanilla, gummies, tangy.
T- Light body, effervescent texture, high carbonation, slightly tangy finish.
O- This was loaded with peach and apricot flavors. Vanilla is there but in the background and honestly seems to help tame the tartness. Very well done. Almost gives me a peach pie with a dollop of cream on top sort of flavor.
