Description
Phenomenal craft beer and delicious food prepared from scratch are just a couple of the things you’ll love about our original Steelhead Brewery restaurant in Eugene, Oregon, located at the corner of East Fifth Avenue and Pearl Street in the historic market district. Not long after we opened in 1991, we became a local destination for beer lovers and foodies to enjoy our McKenzie Brewing beer and unique dishes. We are the go-to gathering place for anyone looking for restaurants in Eugene.

The restaurant houses our original brewery and production facility, featuring our entire selection of McKenzie Brewing beers. These award-winning beers are accompanied by our full bar and wine selection, as well as our freshly brewed, nationally renowned root beer. To top it all off, our chefs create an eclectic selection of hand-crafted dishes inspired by American comfort food, like our delectable halibut tacos and beer-braised Reuben sandwiches. These mouthwatering dishes are made fresh and from scratch, every day.

We’d love to see you for lunch, dinner, happy hour, or the next Duck game. Our restaurant houses over 14 TVs with sports packages including the Pac-12 network and more. Peruse our menu and come out for a brew and a bite tonight, or bring your fellow fans out for the game!

Admin Note: Most beers will be found under McKenzie brewing now or linked to the McKenzie brand.

12oz can thanks for the new brewery tick Santa. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is rich roast malts some sweetness and little ash. Taste is more of the nice roast malts some ash pine hops and a sweetness.

Draught in Burlingame. Clear copper with moderate-low white head that lingers. Taste is malt, with the pumpkin spice in the back. This style can go overboard on the spice, and they avoided that here. There is a carbonic bite in the back of the palate that is not pleasant and spiky.

Druaght at the Burlingame location. Slightly hazy yellow with moderate white head. Something is off on this beer - maybe a little stale. Fair amount of oxidation/cardboard. A little putrid in the middle palate. Not much fruity hop aroma or flavor at all - maybe a little more on the aroma.
