Description
Troy Casey began Casey Brewing and Blending in the fall of 2013 with the idea of creating a blendery (a facility that doesn’t have a brewery themselves, but still makes beer) in the Roaring Fork Valley, a place where he and his fiancé had recently decided to make their home. After searching for the perfect location for their barrel cellar, they found their current spot in South Glenwood right on the Roaring Fork River. Troy first began brewing sour and wild beer in 2009 and it quickly took over all of his brewing interest. This all culminated with the creation of Casey Brewing and Blending, a place where Troy will be able to create blends his way.

Bottle @ the tap room in Glenwood Springs. Pours a pinkish red appearance with a pinkish tan head. Twangy pie cherries, light funk, vanilla, and some coconut in the nose. Light body. Really nice tart cherries in the mouth. Dessert-like flavor. Some light funk. Hint of herbal notes. My favorite fruit stand so far.

Bottle @ the tap room in Glenwood Springs. Pours a dark pink appearance with a pinkish head. Some funk, grape must, light juice, and some cobwebs in the nose. Medium body. Light sweetness. Flavor is pretty interesting with some twangy berry notes, young wine, and a bit of juice. A little strange but pretty fun.

Bottle @ the tap room in Glenwood Springs. Pours a hazy/cloudy golden yellow orange appearance with an off white head. Aroma has a touch of corn, some funk, light pear, and heavy lemon zest. Pretty funky, twangy flavor. Somewhat dry and fairly effervescent. Herbal, some honey, white fruit, and a bit of toasted grain. Kind of a chill beer.
