Bottle from Lidl. Clear amber/brown body with a beige head. Fine carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of dumpling and Dr Pepper. Flavour of toffee and roasted malt. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. This tastes like something between a dunkel and a dubbel. It’s a very tasty beer.

Bottle @ home. Clear brownish amber body under a small, fast disappearing tan head. Aroma of malt, bead and dry fruit. Taste is sweet caramel malt, some bread, hint of toast, some dry fruit and moderate bitterness. Balanced body with a sweet, malt based aftertaste. Not particular complex, but solid and well made, classic Scottish ale. Rather easy drinkable actually.

Moderate sweetness and developing bitterness. Moderate body, oily watery, soft carbonation. Malty goodness, liked this.
