Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque, reddish brown with a beige head. Odd cheesyness to the nose, that I'm not happy with. But also molasses, dark, dried fruits and Belgian yeast. Rich, sweet body, again overripe fruits and molasse, but with an odd tartness to it. Warming alcohol finish. 160323

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a beige head - a good looker. Nose has distinct, Belgian esters and dark, dried fruits. Medium body, again friendly Belgian esters, dark dried fruits, brown sugars, but the beer is almost bone dry. Quite a complex and lovely Dubbel, although I may have preferred a little less attenuation for the style. 140323

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a small and creamy, off-white head. Faint malty nose with a hint of caramel. Medium body, super dry maltiness and a bitter finish. Stylistically I'm not sure this qualifies as a Kölsch, but it sure is a highly attenuated Amber Ale! 140323

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, deep amber with a smallish, rough, off-white head. Delicious, slightly spicy nose with some coriander coming through, masking the booze. Rich, sweet - borderline cloying - body, with plenty of toffee and sugars in general. But that pleasant, subdued spiciness follows through. It's not overly complex and it's whiningly sweet, yet I somehow like it. No real bitterness but a warming alcohol finish. 110323

Bottle 50 cl. Pours thick and opaque black with an oily texture and a small, brownish head. The nose is more sugary/syrupy than actually roasty. Rich body, raisiny and syrupy, some licorice with a rather malt bitter finish. Different. 090323

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is mild horse blanket, some fruity, floral, sweet toffee and yeasty tones. Flavour is spicy, alcoholic, some sweet floral and mild pineapple and nectary tones to it.

Jens Smagning (03/02/2023) - Sweet dark malty with notes of dried fruit and spices, caramel and fudge, full bodied, bourbon kissed malty finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, orangey amber with a dense and lacing, off-white head. Spicy, citrusy, tropical hop aroma - lovely! Sweet, solid fruity and malty body with quite some malt sweetness, but the good aroma hops follow all along. Subdued bitterness. These guys have really improved their IPAs. 020323
