Pours a huge frothy head. Bottled 7/02. Aroma has hops, citrus and a hint of honey. Hopbitter flavor with just a bit of honey, a hint of yeast and citrus. Prickly mouthfeel. Nice ale with loads of flavor.

Aroma and flavor have cane sugar, honey, pineapple and mango. Sweet, in fact too sweet to be really good. Still a nice and tasty beer.

Bottled, 12.01.05. Blonde, hazy, pours a large head. Toffee, apple and a touch of dust in the aroma. Sweetish, just a tad vinous, malty, sugary flavor. Hops are limited to the background, but there is a firm sherry character. Not too bad, has matured reasonably satisfactory.

Fles gedeelt door Inoven. Het is een troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige, kruidige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet, zoethout achtig en kruidig.

Flesje gedeeld met Bart en Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel troebel bier met stevig schuim. Aroma van tarwe en kruidig. Smaak is zoet en fruitig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Friday 1st Feb 2019; 7th Pre-Brugge Bier Festival International Beer Swap, De Bierboom. This is one of the many bottles that landed on my table for me to try, it is OK to take a decent sized sample (within reason) because there are so many beers to share. Anyway this poured a brown colour with a red hue, the head a beige blanket of foam. Malty molasses rule the nose and taste with caramel to the fore; some dark fruity notes help to calm down the sweetness a little and give a touch of bitterness in the finish.

Flesje gekregen van Inoven, gedronken met LiekevdV. Het is een donker roodbruin bier met een stevig schuim. Het heeft een gebrande geur, de smaak is caramel achtig en pruimen. Licht rokerig.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Donker roodbruin bier met stevig schuim. Weinig aroma, iets vanille. Smaak van donker fruit (pruim, braam) en is zoetig en zacht. Weinig nasmaak.
