Hazy dark blond with no head. Aroma is quite spicy and yeasty. Taste is a bit stale

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at Stadin Panimobaari, 20160723) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was huge, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, hoppy and bitter. A quite nice strong saison. Alcohol was rather well hidden.

Kräuterartig milder Antrunk. Leicht bitter, deutlich hefig. Rund, okay. 8/9/9/9//9

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild phenolic and mild fruity. Mild estery and phenolic. Smooth fruity, mellow fruity and toasted finish.

Trübes hell gelbes Bier mit einer geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht grasig, hefig, Gewürze. Geschmack mild bananig, Gewürze, hefig, okay.

Hazy pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is typical Belgian flowery, sweet dough. Taste is the same, with some extra spiciness - rosemary and the likes. Medium carbonation. Ok.

Pours rather clear, yellowblonde. Rather small white head. Smell is sharp, full honey aspects , over the dry saison bitterness. Taste is mostly saison yeast. very dry, hay, bitter, somewhat fruity. High carbonation, agreeable mouthfeel. Fine example of the saison style, yet so much higher in alcohol, which does not really translate in the taste. Dry, bitter aftertaste.

330 ml. bottle -> 10 cl. tasting glass @ “2de Bierproeffestival van De Dijleschuimers”. Hazy orange, small white head. Nose is soapy, sugary, hay, candy & coriander. Taste is soapy, fizzy sugar, coriander, candy yeast,.. Very fizzy. Very average, very typical. Adds nothing really, better than their Ferme Saison. This one was also brewery by a more technically capable brewery.
