Not sure why I gravitate towards this brew but alas. Orange bubbly pour. Nose is fruit and wine. Tastes of apple, pear, white wine, golden raisins, some musty basement notes. Not really sure what’s going on here.

Bomber from New Earth Market. Pours out a pale cloudy yellow. Thick fluffy head fades down to soft, creamy skin. Aroma features malty, bready notes and a trace of lemon zest. Taste is predominantly wheat, lacking the usual banana and bubblegum flavors, but still presenting the lemon zest. Looks great, but comes off as a wheat ale.

Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent/hazy gold with a decent white head. Light banana clove aroma. Med body. Flavor is moderate banana/clove. Not strong in flavor, but decent. Clearly a good example of the style.

From a 500 ml bottle. Label says 13.4% abv. Pours a murky brown with a thin off white head. Aromas of toffee and treacle. Flavors are sweet toffee with some hot alcohol in the finish. Tasty.

Bomber from the Woodland CostCo. Pours dark brown with a darkish tan bubbly head. Very nice aroma of chocolate. There's something else too - dark roasty malt - and possibly banana? Med body or so. Flavor is very chocolate. Quite earthy for me. Something in a small way making me think coffee. Banana does not seem to be in it. Quite dry. The earthiness/dark malt seems to be providing a fair amount of bitter. Good Schwarz.

Bottle from Lucky Market. Labelled "Deadicated Amber Ale". Dark amber, with ring of soft head. Aroma and taste lean hard on the malts.Very caramelly. Just enough sweetness, and right amount of bitterness. Pretty solid, and better than the score indicates.

650ml bottle from Canada Craft Beer Club Complex aroma with raspberries, honey, bread, spices and pears. Foamy average head on golden amber and clear liquid. Taste is honey, raspberries, bread, pears and a bit of clove. Slight herbal hops as mild and dry final. Very honey and fruity profile for a Belgian Ale. Pleasant and tasty but yeast characteristics are lowered by the adjuncts.
