Description
We are committed with excellent beer!
If we must, without profit... but always excellent beer!

Pedro Souza devoted himself body and soul to the development of his own craft brewery, which he founded in September 2013 in Alvarelhos, Trofa.

At the beginning of 2015, the result of "a lot of resilience and persistence" comes out on the market: the first ready-to-serve beers produced by Post Scriptum Brewery. Today, the Trofa brewer is proud to see the business he built by himself "grow every month".

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, murky lightish brown color, woody whiskey aroma with some toffee, whiskey much more noticable in flavor, bitter alcoholic sensation and quite sweet. Not too exciting, overpowering whiskey character.

On tap at Posthistor Pub, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out moderate roast, with some earth and toasted nuts. Flavour is along the same lines, with medium roast, toasted nuts and burnt caramel. Robust body and nicely balanced, but maybe a tad harsh. Solid dark lager.

On tap at Posthistor Pub, pours a cloudy deep dark brown with a large beige head. Nose brings out Belgian yeast, brown sugar and candied sugar. Flavour is nicely expressed, with a nice yeast character, Belgian yeast and candied sugar. Good use of the yeast - not too sweet, not too estery, but well-dialed in. Pretty solid.
