Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: dark blue to black color with a thin pinkish colored foamy cap of a head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: blueberry sweet and tart character with some dark grapes and light funky to sour scents in the background, barrel sweet and tart accents
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart quality initially then has a sly sour edge come in nicely; finishes blueberry tart and sweet
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to be a sipper; some smoothness but also some tart to sour assertiveness
Overall: pretty nicely done fruited sour/tart ale I would welcome again.

On tap at Vermont Tap House, Williston, VT. (Consumed 07/20/2019)
Poured into a tulip.
Appearance: fine ruddy red color with no head thus no lace
Aroma: cherry, raspberry, blueberry and strawberry tart and sweet scents; noted yeasty quality, subtle grassy hops? hmmmm, I believe so but they're super faint
Flavor: wraps up the previously noted aromas to a fine tart and sweet quality then follows through on the finish with a light sour character to it
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; light smoothness but also some sharp tart and sour assertiveness
Overall: was a great Summer dessert beer I would welcome again.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a two and a half fingers of khaki foamy head which settled down to leave some messy lace
Aroma: some smoky to dark chocolatey notes, light roasty scents; light ashy notes, toasted nuts, some earthy to semi-citrusy hops
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet sort of mentality while finishing semi-roasty and slightly earthy hopped
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; light smoothness and substantial dryness; light hop bitterness
Overall: though not really a Belgian ale to me, and somewhat not really a "black IPA" which was my second thought on this - it ends up leaving me scratching my beard a bit as to what this beer wants to be. I guess the best way to go about this is "dark ale" and leave it at that. I "think" I could come back to this.

Bottle to tulip.
Appearance: poured dark brown close to black and had a one and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, light Belgian yeasty notes, sweet coffee notes, roasted coffee notes, sweet earthy scents, toasted nuts, dark fruits and a light note of Belgian sugars
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas in a sweet to semi-spicy sort of way; finishes sweet coffee-ish and Belgian sugary
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also some noted dryness
Overall: so this is some sort of Belgian styled cold brew coffee stout? Is that I what I heard? well, not bad, I think I could come back to this.

Bottled 2015. Gorgeous stuff, great acetic twang, aged berries, bit of leather, cherry, modest funk, sturdy acidity, some salty sweat. Nice one.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: red/amber color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: clean caramel/toffee malts up front with some floral hops then a light scent of coriander under that seemed to arise were a bed of fresh piney hoppiness
Flavor: wraps the prior noted aromas together in a fine floral to malty sort of sweet way then flanked by the spicy tone; finishes piney and floral with a little bit of malts
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness but also a light piney to coriander-ish peck of harshness on the tongue
Overall: I don't see this as a true Belgian IPA, I believe this is an American red ale with coriander in it. Because I looked at this beer as an American red, I think this is good as that and I would return to this.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-cloudy amber color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated to leave some light lace
Aroma: freshly cut grass, light lemon, some hay, light funk, floral, pear and a touch of clean caramel malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together in a malty sweet and dry floral vibe; finishes semi-floral with a little bit of funk and malts
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to medium, sessionable, some smoothness with some floral hop stained assertiveness but really light
Overall: nice enough Biere De Garde as far as I know and I believe I could return to this.

Aroma: snappy citrusy hops over a light clean biscuity malt base
Flavor: leans to the sweet side through the prior noted aromas; finishes citrusy
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, even keeled of smoothness to bitterness on the tongue
Overall: good lager worthy of many pours again, would be a great grillside beer.
