On tap at Ølfestival 2012. It’s a black one, topped by a finger-thick, tan head. The aroma is roasted, with lots of coffee and a touch of vanilla. The flavor is quite sweet, with coffee and roasted malts, and some vanilla. Herbal notes towards the else coffee-bitter finish. Lightly warming and almost sticky on the palate, medium to full body. The coffee like aroma and flavor is what I like the most of this one, but it’s a nice beer anyway. 120512

On tap at Ølfestival 2012. It’s an unclear, golden-orange beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma has malts and oranges, maybe more like clementines than orange, and some grassy notes. The flavor too is on the orangey side, with malts and hay, and a decent bitterness. Medium to thin on the palate, a bit low on carbonation, and quite dry. Although far from the most exiting beer on the festival, it’s quite pleasant, it’s easy drinkable, and sort of quenching. 120512

Bottle @ Føtex. Pours dark unclear golden with a thick lasting white head. Nose is yeast and hops which gives notes of berries and exotic fruit. Yeasty flavor, pretty Belgium like and pretty clean with a hoppy note which saves it from having no personality. Dry and bitter finish.
