On tap. Pours a pitch black with pretty much no head. Heavy, heavy sweet roast aroma, fluid sweet raisin syrup.... Heavy, rich body, low carbonation very, very sweet, vanilla, and molasses, again raisin syrup. Boozy and extremely filling. Very enjoyable. 110512

On tap. Pours a cloudy yellow with a creamy and lacing white head. Fruity, yeasty nose. Rich body, sweet fruit and heavy Belgian yeast. Mouthfeel is awfully tired. A little late hops. Damm I’m so fed up with pale Belgian ales. 110512

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque dark amber with a creamy beige head leaving some lacework. Sweet caramel aroma, a little nutty with a solid blend of hops up front. Very rich body, lots of overripe fruit, again caramel and a whiff of phenols. Solid bitterness. Nice one.110512

Tap at CBF 2012. Sugar roast and coffee aroma. Jet black, brown lace. Sweet coffee with milk and sugar. Dry roasted flavor. Dark roast, light bubblegum. Thick mellow mouthfeel. Port, Coffee and chocolate aftertaste.

Draught. Good caramelly and teaish aroma. Hazy dark amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is nice and refreshing, grassy hops, mildly caramelly. Good bitterness.
