Cloudy light tan. Salty, fruity, bit yeasty, light body. Refreshing, with a bit too much yeast character.

Can - Lemon, soapy and salty. Clear gold with a quick dissipating white head. Light tartness, lemon and a nice corriander salty finish. Solid.

Draught at 12 Kings, Vancouver
Cloudy pale blond color. Mild but nice aroma, lemony and lactic. Very dry mouthfeel, a bit weak, the malts are a bit wheaty, bready, moderate acidity, very light lemon, and mild salt taste too. Traces of yeast.
Pleasant.

650ml bottle at Josh. Vintage 2015. Aroma and taste are sour, fruity, smoky. Dry aftertaste. Quite pleasant smoky sour beer. Probably spoiled, but still good.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of coriander and citrus upfront, with subdued salt in back. Flavour is along the same lines, with loads of coriander upfront, with subdued citrus and a nice salt kick. The coriander steals the show on this one in a very tasteful way. Nicely done.

Cask - German yeasty notes. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Herbal, sweet and yeast German esters. More like a weird heffe than a gose.

Bottle - Dark malts and a touch of toast. Dark brown with a light brown head. Light toffee and a touch of roast. A bit of a sweet mess.

Tasting at Matt’s
Black color, the brownish head disappears quickly. Aroma and flavor of dark caramel, but the body is a bit thin, and the flavor doesn’t have much depth; mild residual sweetness; roasted nuts in the final.
Simple, but not bad.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel, cocoa, and dark fruits. Flavour is full of toasted bread, caramel and a touch of dark fruits. Quite dry and bready. Restrained, but pleasant. Decent stuff, but lacks oomph.
