Maple bready notes. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Blueberry, vanilla, bready, maple and a decent light finish. Good pastry blonde.

Hazy, dull amber. Thin head. A bit ugly like that. Bitter, oxidized and grassy. The balance is way off. Most German hops, even the really fun new ones, aren't great on their own so that's probably where the grassiness comes from, and the rest is a fermentation problem. But fuck it, let's sell it anyway.

Sweet cinnamon and maple syrup. Jet brown with a nice small brown head. Sweet stick and quite a bit of nice complexity. Pretty solid for a local brewery.

Draft - Orange hard candy. Cloudy gold with a small head. Sour orange with a long orange finish. Not bad and close to as described, just not my thing.

473mL can, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out soft toasted malt, light cocoa and some chalkiness. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of charcoal, cocoa and toasted malt. Too much coal-like character. It's drinkable but not great.

Taster at the P49 with Andrey. Pours a very dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma is very interesting with lots of sweet baking spices and some chocolate. Similar taste. Very interesting.

Draught at Parallel 49, Vancouver
Black colour. Roasted malt aroma with hints of vanilla. Good body strength, sweet; dark chocolate flavour with roasted nuts, quite strong vanilla, cream, bourbon, and gentle booziness.
Excellent.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is very sweet, with notes of maple syrup, vanilla and light roast. Flavour is along the same lines, indeed tasting like liquid French toast. Lots of maple syrup, a little vanilla and very low roast character. For such a gimmicky beer, this works alright. Pleasant.
