Bottle - Tropical notes and a touch of passion fruit. Cloudy gold with a small white head. Pineapple and other tropical notes with a nice citrus and light passion fruit finish. Fruit is much lighter than expected. ABV is very well hidden.

Cloudy, sort of a tannish colour. Not much head. OK, I get a little bit of the pineapple, definitely a little diacetyl that hasn't been reabsorbed yet. Sweet, pineapple juice, just a touch of the passionfruit. Mellow hop bitterness. This one is heavy on the fruit juice, but with a fairly mediocre base. That drags this down a bit.

Can poured into teku showing deep gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows pronounced notes of well mixed resinous pine and concentrated malt. The palate is light bodied and well carbonated. Prickly mouthfeel with forward notes of sharp pine and resin with a lightly clean mid-palate followed by more sharp pine bitterness.

Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Murky dark and dull yellow colour. The aroma is quite fruity. Good body strength, there is enough hop character, quite orangey, zesty, but spoiled by some butter flavour and some vegetable bitterness in the finish.
Execution problems.

Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Hazy blond color. Some resiny hops, with a dry mouthfeel, a bit of grainy malts, some carboard in the finish, and some chicory bitterness.
I need a brighter hop here.

Draught at Parallel 49, Vancouver
Murky dull light brown, no head. Strong barrel aroma. Thin for a Barley Wine, alcohol is prominent, malt flavor is good, a bit of toffee, light sweetness, some fruity acidity, tannins, and some vegetables too, mainly in the final.
Confused, but not a bad beer.

Tasting at Oakes' Manor
Cloudy light red colour. Strong raspberry aroma, comes through a bit artificial. Dry, weak, not sweet, with raspberry syrup (artificial).

Bottle - Raspberry candy and sweetness, Murky pink with a decent white head. Raspberry and fruitywith a touch of sourness. They hit hat they were looking for.

Opaque pink, but without much of a head. Quite a bit of raspberry on the nose. Lots of fruit - kind of a fresh raspberry and a mellow tartness. Jammy, decent fruit beer.

Bottle - Toffee and cherry with a long raisin sweetness. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Vanilla, cherry, toffee and some bitterness. The combination although I think is reasonably well executed, tastes like cough syrup.
