Description
1 bière, c’est 2 tartines… !

Can. Comptoir Belge. Hazed glowing gold. Decent white foam. Looks well. Nose has peach apricot and mandarin yoghurt. Specifically Longley Farm. Taste has some lactic sweetness but is mostly juicy tart and quite dry. Juicy and refreshing overall. Fruit packed finish. Very nice pastry.

(Draft at Le Barboteur, Brussels, 21 Sep 2025) Cloudy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of peaches, apricots, passionfruit and citrus. Fruity, tart taste with peaches, apricots, orange and white bread. No bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fruity and refreshing. Nice one.

Rather huge foxy-greige head over reddish deep-brown beer. Sweet-smelling as vanilla, caramel, toffee, treacle, pastry - and, indeed, salted caramel. Roast, caramel, stout acidity, pastry and mineral. No bitterness but all one might expect is there, and in pretty good balance at that. Well-bodied without excess. Faint alcoholwarming, viscous. The salted caramel is quite present, yet perfectly blending in. Maybe 'imperial' (or anti-) is a bit stretching it for 9.1 % ABV, but no matter. Txs to Stef!

Small white head over fully hazy pale yellow beer. Yoghurt (fruit-), hint at vanilla, dry grains & malts. Sour, fruity, citrussy. Simple and straigthforward. Warming up a bit the green kiwi becomes more and more outspoken. Refreshing, good carbonation, gets somehow quite slick. Amusing summer beer. Txs to Stef!
