Bottle: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with medium size white foamy head. Aroma of tart notes with some pineapple notes is quite pleasant. Taste is a nice mix of pineapple notes with some tart notes with light acidic notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice mix of pineapple notes with some funky ester.

Draft at Salud. Hazy yellow color. Aroma of sour stonefruit. Taste is very sour almost acetic. Fruit balances things a bit. OK.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin white head. In aroma, nice fruity tart malt with light lemon notes, light Brett, light lactic notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice tart mix of lemon, pineapple pulp, lactic acid, light leather notes, very nice and complex. Bottle from San Diego.

Draft at Salud courtesy of Benj, thanks! Cloudy pink color. Fruit aroma. Taste is exactly prickly pear fruit but not as sweet. Light sourness, no acetic tartness. Very tasty.

Tap. Bright yellow pour, bit of foam there, not much. Nose clean sour, bit of some fruits, hint of tartness. Tastes intensely sour but not too much, salty, passion fruit also there but under lots of very nice acidity, almost vinegar. Really loving this body and how it quenches thirst. Finish dry, bit of bread and fruity tartness. Super beer for summer.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours hazy/cloudy pink-blush with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, tart, raspberry, sugary, candy cane and some mustiness. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, sugary, bright acidity, sour raspberry, lemon sherbet, rindy citrus and good mouth-pucker with a dry, acidic finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Crisp and tart. Pretty tasty stuff.

750ml ml bottle given to me by fellow Wyoming BA, wyoming. Thank you!!
I popped the cap while holding the bottle over a sink. You can never tell with these wild ales and I was tempting fate by not chilling it beforehand.
No immediate reaction so I let out an audible "whew. Oops, as I started to back away from the sink. And so started a slow but constant ooze. I grabbed my glass and poured some in but the oozing continued and I lost a few ounces.
On to the review, this Wild Ale being aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels.
It pours a cloudy orange yellow with a tiny and short lived head of foam. No lacing. I see some sediment in my first pour.
The smell is, well, of peaches, in all their glory! With a subtle bitterness, it's like they threw in the skins as well. The barrel aging is obvious if you've ever had that wine before.
The taste is true to the smell in every way. Peaches that are very tart and slightly bitter, a vinous character that blurs the line between beer and wine. You better LOVE peaches if you're going to pick this one up.
Fairly light bodied without getting watery, also pretty light with the carbonation; I reckon that a lot of it escaped when I opened the bottle.
Overall, a real treat that needs more investigating from RBs like you!

Bottle 750ml. @ [ TTOD(U)RBSG17 - The Tenth Official Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2017 ] @ fonefan - Brugmansia house, Denmark. [ As Council Béatitude: Boysenberry Imperial Tart Saison - Bourbon Barrels ].Light unclear medium to dark red - purple colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - pink - purple head. Aroma is moderate malty, trar, phenol, aceton, boysenberry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and acetic with a long long duration, boysenberry, vanilla, sweet berry, tart, aceton, burning acid in the throat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Too muck for me ... way to acid burning. [20170819] 6-3-7-3-6
