375ml bottle as part of a delivery from the much missed Hoptimism and drunk at home. Deep gold, clear with a small foamy white head. Tart aroma, I can’t place koji but I’m getting gooseberry by the bucketloads, soured dark berries, lemon rind, white grapefruit. Taste is unsurprisingly strongly sour, berry to the fore, with the unrelenting tartness continuing until the finish. Medium body with tight carbonation that excites the tongue even more. Wow.

375ml bottle purchased through Hoptimism and drunk at home. Pinkish gold and clear with a small white head. Massive funk, lots of farmyard and vinegar with deep notes of sour cherry. A lovely sweet/sour interplay in the taste, more cherry, underripe berry, rosé wine. Big sourness on the final end of the sip. Light body, medium to heavy carbonation. Extremely good.

Bottle thanks to Drew. Hazy pink gold colour thin white head. Sour cherry and red currants. Pink peppercorns. Some sourness on finish. Lots of fruit. Real fruit. Really quite sour. Sherbet mouthfeel pretty good really interesting.

Bottle thanks to Richard. It pours hazy golden - yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is musty, white wine, vinous, gooseberry, sour apricot, yuzu, sherbet, refreshers, fizzy sour candy and must. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, zingy, minerality, yuzu, sherbet, refreshers, nectarine, light acidity, minerality, tannin, dry oak and a nip of booze with a drying, toothy finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Bright and zingy. Sherbet fun times.
