Bottle: Light amber coloured, hazy, big beaten-egg-white-like stable head with a good lace, moderate to solid piney-hoppy nose with a caramelly-malty counterpart; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, soft, full bodied; lingering aromatic bitter-hoppy finish, balanced by a certain quantity of sweetish malt. Very nice brew.....

Bottle thanks to Countbeer at ‘Zieke Zuiden Tasting II’. Cloudy, hazy dark orange / light red color, small white to off-white head. Lots of yeast particals floating around. Smell hops, fruits, grapefruit. Taste hops, grapefruit and bitter. Good mouthfeel, decent carbonation, medium body.

(bottle, 75cl, purchased at a drinks market in Neuötting/Bavaria) Hazy, amber colour with a tall and slowly lacing off-white foamy head. Present cara-malty and slightly yeasty spicy aroma with notes of marzipan and a mildly fruity and piney hoppy touch. Moderately bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a pleasantly calm carbonation. Mildly cara-malty base with mainly fruity hops but above that also with a mildly vinous yeasty fruity touch towards the bitter-sweet finish. Recommended. 31.X.11

Bottle from Ledgers. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Nice citrus in the aroma. Maybe even tangerine. Hardly ever get that. Full bodied. Flavor is bready and the tangerine seems present. It has a lot of flavor. The finish goes sweet, then bitter. Then repeats. Saphir hop is really good. Good beer.
