Aus der Flasche im 2023-12 getrunken. Ein sehr klassisches Stout schon längere Zeit sein bbe überschritten hat und trotzdem sehr ausgewogen daher kommt. Gut Handwerkskunst!

0.33 l bottle from 'Getränke Kosmol', best before March 2024. A little hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately floral aroma of grains, some straw and light vegetables. Slightly sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit floral taste of grains, straw, light honey and a touch of vegetables, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Decent lager, fairly grainy, rather quaffable, somewhat stale though.

0.5 l bottle from 'Getränke Kosmol', best before May 2024. Clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy, a little fruity-floral aroma of lemon peel, some fresh grass and a touch of grains. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently fruity-floral and a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, lemon peel and some fresh grass, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very well-brewed Pils, quite smooth and nicely aromatic. Not as intense as the Grünhopfen-Pils, of course, but quite good for a classic example of the style.

Süffiger, süßlich getreidiger Beginn. Etwas dumpf, milde Herbe, pappig. Herb-getreidiger Mittelteil, ansteigend süß, mittellanger Abgang. Ok. 8/7/8/7/7/7

0,5 l bottle from Zisch, Wildeshausen. Clear light golden with a small one finger white head in the glass. Grainy grassy aroma on a soft level. Taste starts with a soft grainy bitterness, some caramel. Mid carbonation. Little bit more bitterness in the second part. Okay, nothing wrong, easy drinker.
