Rating #2:
Dark amber in colour with a thin dense off-white head. Very stron floral hop aroma. Medium-bodied; strong piney hop flavour with a very powerful malt background. A very nice IPA. Bittered aftertaste from both the hops and the malt, but a great mouthful. Overall, pretty good for the style, and one of my favourites from the brewery. I had this pint on draught at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York. Rating for this review: 8,3,7,3,13.

Dark in colour, almost a light amber. A definate hoppy aroma very barren of malt. A clean taste, with some noticable hops, but not overwhelmingly so. A clean aftertaste, good enough to drink a couple without feeling full! Had on tap at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York. Rating for this review: 6,3,7,3,12

Slightly hazy golden colour with a large slightly off-white head. Very dry and hoppy smelling. Very hoppy initiall taste overridden by a nice malt flavour. A medium-bodied APA with a great flavour! Definately worth trying!!!

This is a pretty darn good pale ale, with a wave of hops in the beginning, sime citrusy bitterness in the middle, and a blast of maltiness in the finish. This is medium-bodied, but pretty full bodied as far as pale ales go. If you want to try a Wagner beer, this should be the one.

This has a decent appearance with an aroma of roasted oats. Not a lot going on in the flavor. Some roasty, coffee-like notes and a mild, oatmeal sweetness. This has a thin and watery finish. Not a bad stout, but not a memorable one either.

Amber-copperish color with a tiny head and an aroma of subtle hops and fruit. The flavor is very floral, with a decent amount of hops, and a slight bitterness lingering within a slightly dry finish. This is a decent beer that would go great with seafood.

Black; hoppy-fruity nose; overcarbonated; touches of roast and blueberry. Carbo kills this one.

GABF 2002: Dark amber color. Intense floral hop aroma, sweet up front and a bitter finish, with no hop flavors.

Chestnut brown, big airy head. Dry, spicy, medium bodied, aromatic hoppiness.

Light mahogany; rather light-tasting for a doppelbock; some dark malt flavours, but nowhere near as assertive as they should be.

Copper; Faint nose; some fresh rye bread flavours in the malt; vienna malt very evident. A good example.
