at yespr tasting. cloudy yellow, smooth white head. malty and bitter hoppy aroma, also a little yeast, slightly spicy. flavor is hoppy, biter hoppy, malty, faint flowery.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a lacing white head. Fresh, spicy hop aroma - and yeast. Medium body, sweet fruit, citrusy hops and a bitter and slightly astringent finish. Not bad - however I’m still not impressed by the combo of Belgian yeast and American hops. I guess at 7.8% this is only bordering Double IPA territory. 260911

Bottled. A murky dark golden beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma has notes of spices, lemons, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, straw, and malt, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks fiulijn for sharing.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is crisp hoppy, light orange fruity and peachy. Bitter, solid hoppy: peachy and crisp grapefruity. Bitter, dry fruity and peachy. Grapefruity and light mango finish.

11.2 oz. bottle, pours a hazy deep golden orange with a big white head, leaving lots of lacing. Aroma is quite doughy and spicy, with Belgian yeast, dried apricot and orange peel. Flavour is fruity and spicy, with orange and dried apricot, dough, Belgian yeast and spicy hops. Dry, champagne-like finish. Medium complexity, hiding the ABV. Quite solid.

Cloudy deep blond color; generous head. Very nice hoppy aroma, fruity, fresh, without a particular fruit prevailing, maybe oranges; but also mild spices, and the combination is elegant. Lean body, with good dry malt flavor, quite sharp spicy character, followed by a correct bitterness, with quality hopping, resiny before fruity. Excellent.

Bottle @ home, shared with DutchDrebus. Clear pale yellow color, small white head that’s quickly gone. Smell malts, grains, hint of sour and vinegar. Taste barnyard, vinegar and lightly sour. Low carbo and body.

Pizzeria Paradiso- Dupont, DC 12oz ($5hh): Pours a clear yellow color with a little head. At PP this was advertised as a saison and not a witbier and indeed, I didn’t notice even the slightest hint of wit in this. In fact, it was mostly just a really earthy light ale with a little bit of funk. Citrus and other fruitiness was present, but in a very minimal form. I personally like it plenty.
