Aroma reminds me of an oud bruin. It has sour cherries and wood, but it feels a bit contaminated too. Flavour is sour too with cherry and oak. Dry palate with slightly too much CO2. I might like this more if I liked oud bruin -style ales.

Rather stinging and stale aroma with some berry bush. Flavour is unpleasant with some sour berries and citrus. Not good, too much berries and harsh bitterness.

Little cloudy orange beer, creamy white head, bit stable, nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity hops, pineapple, bit sweet, spices. MF: ok carbon, medium body, bit watery texture in the finish. Taste: hop bitters, fruity, pineapple, touch of spices. Aftertaste: lots of citrus, dry and hoppy. Very bitter ending. Finally a non infected beer from Gaverhopken.

A very temporary head can be formed by pouring to trappist glass from 20 cm above. Aroma is rather light for this style. It has some sugarish raisins, solvent and alcohol. Flavour has lots of solvent and alcohol. Behind those, some raisins and sweet malt appears. Also some hints of sourness that makes me wonder if this is a bit contaminated. Not very nice brew, the solvent-like alcohol comes through way too much.

Bottle at Bier Central. An unclear one, brown to amber in color. Small, beige head. The aroma is yeasty and fruity, some caramel hints. Strawberry hints, the overripe kind. The flavor has a touch of berries, with some caramel and bitterness hints. A bit thin on the palate. Short finish. Well, not my favorite one, but it drinks easily. 110429
