Bottle at Bier Central. A hazy one, amber in color and with a small, off-white head. Slightly milky on the nose, very apricot-like, with generic fruityness. Yeast and alcohol too. The flavor is pretty much the same, fruity and slightly milky. Medium to full body, warming. A strange one, sort of off I guess. 110429

33 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 03/2014, bottled 03/2011
Spicy, elderflower-like aroma. Palate is a bit dry. Flavour has the elderflower and spices. Not my cup of tea.

330ml bottle shared @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere

Pours light yellow with a small white head. Aroma has notes of wheaty malts, banana and fruits. Taste is witbier-like with notes of wheat, banana and fruits. Quite carbonated and stingy finish. A bit unbalanced.

Huge, fine & dense white head, shards of lace over totally unclear orange beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Sourish nose, pickles, vinaigrette; some pale malts and questionable citrus. Sourish, medicinal flavours, citrus, faint toasted malts. And IMO, infected, again. Very spritzy, light bodied but yeast-filled to mushy texture. The "bitter sweet symphony" raised my hopes no end. At last they had it right. Alas, here we go again. People, if you sell your beer in loco, very young and straight from the lagertank, everything might appear just fine. But the things people carry home, they develop, and then the faults appear...

Huge, towering lightly yellow head over some hazy hayish to amber beer; nice lace. End of bottle solid yeast. Aromatic C-hops, with lytchee and rosewater primarily, some grapefruit. Hopoils galore. Hoppy, and very fruity (grapefruit, lytchee,...) flavour. In the line of the better IPA’s, with a marked fiery, lightly toasted finish. Some malts, but unmarked. Fresh, well-carbonated, hop(oil)slick. Only one comment: this is a fine, pungent IPA. It is NOT a double IPA. But it is very convincing, and without a trace of infection, which is very gratifying...

Bouteille 33cl.
