(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, pale golden coloured and turbid hue with a blond and tall foamy head. Sweet and moderately fruity pale malty aroma with notes of lemon and mouldy spices. Moderately sweet flavour with a tinge of sourness, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. A bit slim (wheat-)malty base with citric and spicy notes; dry-ish and slightly sour-fruity finish with mildly spicy notes. 07.IV.11

Pour is a hazy orange with a fast dissapearing white head. Aroma is sugary sweet with some honey and citrus. Flavor is over the top sweet with some sour apple. Finish leaves some butterscotch on the tounge. This is a wierd beer and the sweetness drags this one down. The 9.8% is no where.

Bottle. Pale straw beer with a whitish head. Sweet malt and yeast aroma with light spice. Malt and light grain flavor with light lemon and yeast. Medium bodied. Malt and grain lingers with lemon and light spice.

11.2oz grenade bottle. Opaque, unfiltered orange-tan. Thin, patchy, oily head. I get a a fruity tone in the aroma foreign to most beers, almost candied strawberry banana. Quite a nice beer, relatively mellow mouthfeel, some delicate carbonation. Somewhere between a Tripel, Golden Ale, but with those fruity tones in the taste as well that really mellow it out. Almost like Imperial Cider, with the alcohol laced green apple notes. Interesting, unique beer.

Yeasty, slightly dusty and citrus-fruity aroma with a shy pale malty background. Slightly sweet and sour flavour, medium bodied with a harsh carbonation. Pale malty and citric taste with notes of brett and yeast; sweet and sour, yeasty and slightly citrus-fruity finish. Makes me burping all the time. 22.III.11

(bottle, 33cl, Gaverhopke Blondje, 6.8% abv) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Sour-fruity and slightly yeasty nose with notes of overripe citrus, accompanied by a shy floral and pale malty touch. Sour and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slim pale malt-character with notes of citrus; sourish fruity and slightly tart finish. Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts strong, modest alcoholic, a bit sourish. Fruity notes of lemon. Finish still a bit alcoholic, but still nicely fruity. Not bad!

Cloudy brown beer. Dry palate. Sour but not overly so. Sour orange and a hint of lemon. Just a little spice. A sweet note on the front of the tongue. Hides the alcohol incredibly well - is this really 12.0%??

Little cloudy dark yellow to orange amber beer. Thick off-white head, quickly reduces to thin head, then stable. Lots of carbon in glass supporting the head. Aroma: fruity, a little bit of green apple, yeast. MF: nice sparkling, medium body. Taste: sour apples, yeast, sour berries, a bit of sweet malts. Aftertaste: sour pineapple and some hops. Ok, but you have to know the beer is supposed to be sour, I though it to be infected at first.
