16 oz can from Total Wine - Las Vegas. Pours a dark amber color with a khaki head and very good retention. A few small spots of lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Caramel malt flavor up front with a little hops flavor in the finish. Slightly sweeter and less hoppy than your average amber ale. Medium body with a semi-slick mouthfeel. Light carbonation. Closer in taste to an amber lager versus an amber ale. Low bitterness. Better than expected.

Can I guess at the US vs. CZ west coast blind tasting. Clear golden body, off-white head. Resin, gum, light oxidation, onion, nice aroma really. Earthy-resinous taste, almost nutty in this malty touch, light citrus, big, lasting bitterness. Nice, but bit old.

Smell of bread, caramel malt. Copper colour, high off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, some toffee, bread and faint grass. Slightly oily texture. Medium sweet. Soft carbon.

Sampled from the tap at Aces & Ales Tenaya. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a melon and mango note with a bit of citrus supporting. Flavor has a nice melon and citrus note with a bit of mango and some sweet grains backing.

Sampled from the tap at the Ocean Beach location. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has melon and grass with a decent amount of hay and straw underlying. Flavor has more grass with a bit of dank melon, growing hay and straw underlying.

On tap at The Wandering Void, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma reveals tangy citrusy hops, a touch of dank oils, and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp, with piney, citrusy hops, a little grapefruit peel, and crisp biscuity malt. Well-hopped for an APA, clean, and crisp. Nothing amazing, but well-constructed.
