Brewery draught, 1/20/23. Dark. Beige head is strong. Caramel, brown sugar, hint of coffee and vanilla. Light milk chocolate. Dark chocolate, rich roasted barley and strong cocoa from black malt. No alcohol. Dry. Is this really 8.8 abv?? Lol Jesus. Tastes like an Irish dry stout. I guess there's a bit more heft to the body and bitterness. Clean.

Brewery draught, 1/20/23. Light haze, lemon-brass. White head to ring. Juicy citrus and some grass and spice. Light, white bready malts balance. Pear, lime, melon, pine. Very nice mix of citrus, spice and tropical. Juicy, but spicy and lightly tropical too. Clean, good bitterness, good attenuation. Biscuit and bread. No resin or gross mosaic. Drinkable and very dry and malty.

Brewery draught, 1/20/23. Lightly cloudy maple-amber, off-white head immediately to edge. Rich molasses-laden rum isn't sharp but rather quite rich. Don't get huge malt behind it but there's some biscuit and light toffee. Not boozey. Soft, malty, dry, somehow not tannic/raw/sharp despite the huge rum character. One of the best rum treatments I've had. Rich, sweet, spicy and tempered with light toast, toffee and buttercream-like maltiness. No frickin alcohol or aggressive flavors whatsoever but balanced by the high attenuation. Pineapple, vanilla, toffee, molasses lingering nicely.

Bottle from buddy of mine. Has a few years age on it probably not ideal conditions. Dark pour still large head. Nose is rootbeer and coffee. Tastes the same. Fizzy and watery. Bland overall.

Pours a rich brown from a cask. Aroma is coconut, chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is very sweet on the first sip, and very coconut-y. Calms down after that though and settles into a rich dessert beer. Pretty good.

Pours a nearly orange juice from a cask. Flavor is big grapefruit up front, descending into a dank pot. Flavor was similar, but mouthfeel was rather thin. Good beer.

Pours a nice clear gold from a bottle. Big oily, lemon aroma, similar flavor with a nice dank earthiness in the mix. Well-balanced with a fair amount of bitterness. Good beer.

Pours a dark amber from a bottle. Not much aroma, kind of a pear in syrup maybe. Flavor similar, a little dry after that. Okay beer.

Pours a rich dark brown from a bottle, thick head quickly dissipates. Cadbury chocolate aroma turns into Dunkin Donut coffee in the mouth. Very fizzy, like a soda. Some might like these qualities, but they mostly turn me off, especially DD coffee, blech.

Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with a white head from a bottle. Big citrus and even a little winey aroma. More of a tropical fruit flavor with some grapefruit. Very good beer.
