Can from total wine st pete. Pour is slight haze on pale. Nose is clean fresh pils. Oh, first taste impression is strong near phenol bitter sharp bite. Big surprise. Lots of big pointed pils bitterness fer sher, whew. Heavy duty, baby. I find this somewhat rude character in many domestic attempts at a pils. Yes, a little difficult to enjoy. It certainly is the overriding factor of this beer. Even the carbonation has no effect on civilizing this session. The real old country pilsners are much more well behaved than this. Quite an impact on my senses. OK for a tick, but will not buy again. Description says 'easy drinken'.... I'm not so sure. I thought their scout dog and raging blonde were a much better brew than this.

12oz can picked up at Total Wine.
Pours cloudy orange with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Tropical fruit, melon, grassy, pine.
Good hazy, and I don't like most hazies....

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear bronze color with a small khaki head and decent retention. Only a few spots of lacing. Strong nutty aroma. Really good roasted nut flavor throughout. Slightly sweet. A little thin for the style, but the flavor makes up for that. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Super clean and smooth, and very repeatable. Tasty, sweet brown ale.

3$ can, at total wine in the big FLA! BTW, total wine aint what it used to be, its prices have almost doubled on the singles. Anywho: Pours clear dazzling sparkling pale. Nose is some malt with a tiny hint of citrus perfume in the background. First taste is unusually malty for a blonde, had to check to make sure this wasn't a red irish ale, hehehh. Good bubbly co2 sensations and hey, I like that rosey the riveter on the label! I'm kindah enjoying this, even tho it does have a tad of the rude wheat ale bitter character. Yea, goin down pretty easy. Could do without the bitter bite but overall, this was a decent beer drinken session. There, you have it.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear dark mahogany color with a small beige head and decent retention. Very little lacing. Sweet caramel malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Sweet, toasted caramel malt flavor leaning towards toffee flavor in the finish. Low bitterness. A dessert Marzen? Very clean and smooth. Medium body. Low carbonation. Slightly slick mouthfeel. Good beer.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a cloudy deep amber color with a khaki head and decent retention. Almost no lacing. Grainy aroma. The flavor has some caramel and wheat notes initially, followed by strong honey notes in the finish. The citrus notes are very subtle. Definitely more honey flavor than most honey beers. An interesting mix between the rye wheat and honey. Unique, and a nice change. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation with a slick mouthfeel. Not bitter. And the 6.3% ABV is well hidden.

Can from total wine. Clear orangish brown in color, like solid funk said, reminds me of a lighter colored rust. Mild sweet caramel and and malt nose. Taste of slag, which is followed up by a certain amount of astringent bitter bite. Perhaps some nuts in there, not sure. Yes, almost turns a tad phenolic in the middle after each slug. Different but it has some of that immature brewer attitude in it.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a white head and good retention. A few spots of lacing. Very light pilsner malt aroma. Sharp pilsner malt flavor with light bitterness and a slightly soapy finish. Very crisp mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Decent enough.

Rust and a big tangerine aroma. Golden amber pour with decent head. Some rust in the finish. Tap at Auggie's.
