On tap at Tap & Barrel Coal Harbour, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of chestnuts and hazelnuts - smells rather artificial though. Flavour is the same, with syrupy hazelnuts. Doesn't taste like a beer, just a syrupy alcoholized carbonated beverage of some sort. Gimmick "beer" for non-beer lovers.

Part of the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6 pack (2014). Pours a clean amber colour with a light-beige head that stays a little and creates foamy-streaking lacing. Lots of apples for aromas at first. Then, rye grain comes out with some hints of hops and sweet honey. The taste is mild, but has all the characteristics of the nose. Caramel comes out in both after breathing, but everything does not get too sweet, which makes this one a decent honey lager.

Bottle. 5% Part of the LCBO BC Craft 6 pack. Served in a lager glass. A crystal clear honey amber with a soapy off-white head. It has a really nice honey bready graham aroma. Medium bodied with a soft rounded carbonation and smooth mouthfeel. A malt forward lager, sweet honey & biscuity malts with a dash of caramel. It seems like a honey Vienna Lager. A well made honey lager, possibly a bit too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from the tap. Orangey brown with off white head. Caramel malt and mild hops with a citrusy sweetness. As an IPA it could be a little hoppier, as a beer overall it’s quite enjoyable.

Bright amber, bubbly head, a bit smoky, with lots of maltiness. A touch of chipotle smoke lends accent to an otherwise sweet and uneventful amber. The sweetness and smoke go together well...you can see the underlying logic, but I’d prefer an extra dimension, either added bitterness or some sort of roast or even just an extra dose of chipotle.

At a tasting, thanks Ariel, smallish bubbly head, clear goden colour, oxidised and candy aroma with some skunky notes, oxidised flavour with cornflakes and a hint of dried fruits. Just plain bad.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks Ariel. Clear golden. Aroma of skunk, corn and cardboard. Sweetish oxidized flavor with cardboard, corn and a slightly drier finish. Light-bodied. Pretty unpleasant.
