Thanks Blaine!
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a black color with a white foamy rocky head. Lace was pretty thick and foamy, somewhat sticky.
The aroma had some coffee beans and grounds, cocoa powder, sweet oats, leather and some earthy hops.
The flavor was moderately sweet with some of the roastiness making a good effort of balancing fairly nice. Nicely balanced aftertaste rolling into the same sort of finish.
The palate was about medium bodied with a fairly good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good.
Overall, for a sweet stout, this one was bit more roastier than I thought it would be which was nice to me since I tend to find those \"overly sweet\" stouts that end up becoming cloying. This one is not.

Shaker pint draft at the Hebron Brew Haus in Hebron, Kentucky. The pour is a brown darker golden with a well formed 1/2 inch light khaki head. The aroma is roast, caramel and nut malt, along with a bit of sweet vanilla hazelnut. The taste is the roast quickly moving to the sweet caramel hazelnut malt of the nose. The sweetness lingers and cloys a bit as it warms. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and the sweet along with a bit of mineral as it warms in the finish.
