440ml can as Guinness Cold Brew Coffee Beer. Poured almost black in colour with a big milky light tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee. The flavour is moderate sweet and liquorice bitter, with a rich, silky smooth, creamy coffee, dry liquorice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso l'orzo e il frumento. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. La parte liquida offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al palato si riportano indizi di miele, frumento, cereali, frutta secca ed erba.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano indizi di orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto cristallino e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è pronunciato. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di caramello, miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, erba, agrumi e mandarino.

Pours a dark almost black colour with a creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, coffee, liqourice, some dry fruit. Bittersweet finish. Very nice.

Pours a black colour with a thick creamy head. Aroma of dark malts, cream, nuts. Watery and unremarkable, and very much overrated. Even this brewer has many better beers.

Aroma of light malts. Flavour is malty, not much else. A bit watery. Decent drinkable Irish Ale, but nothing to get excited about.

Little football on the walk through town. This is bizarre. Caramel, sweet, thin.

Zu Recht ein Klassiker. Trocken, deutliche Bittere, nicht zu intensive Röstaromen, super süffig.

Bottle at De Markies, Leeuwarden. Aroma is dark malt, some roast, cocoa, some coffee, hint of creamy milk. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Nice Porter!

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, light cream, hazelnut, hint of coffee and cocoa. Flavour is lightly sourish and light bitter. Body is light, thinnish. Much better than Guinness Draught, but not nearly as good as the West Indies Porter.
