19/9/2025. Can from Yutaka Shop Online. Enjoyed from the can in the garden on a ridiculously warm mid-September day. Aroma is citrus, lemon rind, floral, grassy, lemon cake. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Quite carbonated, a little sherbety. Enjoyed it.

Moderately hazed golden orange topped with a frothy white cap that escapes to the edge.
Nose is lemon rind, herb, yeast esters, light white peppery spice.
Taste comprises yeast esters, light funk, farmhouse vibes, straw, light spice.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Tidy saison.

Ambar cobriza de espuma blanquecina de tamaño y retención medias. Aroma a malta tostada, pan, caramelo, azucar. Algo empalagoso quizás. Cuerpo moderado en boca bien de gas. Tono dulce acaramelado, base muy malteada y algo licórica, notas de frutas del bosque. Me resulta cansina.

Barrel Aged Pastry Barleywine
Deep ruby brown/cola looking pour with no foam. Big sweet chocolate syrup aroma with a touch of barrel character. Very sweet with a bit of booziness.
It’s definitely super sweet but aside from the booziness it’s got a very chocolates bar like flavor profile.
Yum, where’s my ice cream?
I totally recommend you have this with ice cream as it ramps up the complexity and opens up the flavors. Tannic oak and soft chocolate notes with coffee crisp elements. Delicious.
