Pint can. Pours a clear 18k gold color with a small fizzy white head that soon recedes. The aroma is strong and citrusy--mostly oranges and grapefruit. The taste is dominated by the oranges with grapefruit, pine and something earthy. The palate is oily and full with soft carbonation. Finishes medium in duration. with lingering bitter pine. Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting XVI (Last Call) on 10/09/2025. Dark mahogany pour with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of oak, rye whiskey, cherry and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky whiskey, rye malt, semi-tart cherry and citrus. The finish is oaky and boozy with a rye Old Fashioned aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

12 oz. can. Pours black, with an average, bubbly, tan head. The nose is harsh coffee, spruce, caraway, vanilla, and mild toffee. Sweet and sugary, with a mild, earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a sticky, biting feel. Abrasive and fair.
