Description
Since our inception on a commercial scale in 2008 we have evolved as a brewery immeasurably.
The Brewery has moved up several gears in the past 12 months & is now growing at an alarming rate!

We as a team have grown with the brewery. Started in 2008 with Directors James Farran, Andy Baker & Meyrick Kirk the brewery now has a fulltime drayman, a head brewer, a managing director & soon to be further additions to the team.

We are a brewery with an extreme passion & a strong identity, our beers are unapologetically flavour forward in nature, hop & malt laden beers that challenge today's modern beer lover. Beers with heart, soul & raging personality.

In the coming years we plan to continue to grow by fervently pushing the boundaries of what is possible when brewing beer, to excite you the deserving beer connoisseur who should settle for nothing less than than beers that excite & ensare your senses. We invest heavily in our beers with LOTS of the very best ingredients, why settle for beers that don't?

330ml bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield - Deep back body, tan head. Nose of chocolate and liquorice, a bit of burnt wood smoke too. Sweet taste, bit milky and some chocolate. Quite enjoyable, but too sweet over the long run.

Bottle at Mish Mash in Penang. Thicker than expected black pour. Yeasty Belgian aroma with roasted malt and some lemony hops. Taste is okay - very tart and bitter in an unbalanced way. A bit disappointing.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - chocolate orange, fruit salad Taste - creamy chocolate laden with fruit. Light honey. I’ve got it. Think of the chocolate in a box of chocolates which has that orange centre. That’s it. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - I’m a huge fan. Very decadent indeed.

Re-rating at Stockbridge Tap Tap Takeover. The keg version of this completely stole the show. It was worth a second pint. Previous rating on 15/04/15 = 7+4+7+4+15 = 3.7 Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - grapefruit but not dry, more like it’s mixed with pineapple or mango. Taste - pineapple and grapefruit again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it’s certainly an assault by a tonne of hops.
