Bottle pour into shaker. Sudsy head, pale gold. A bit of sweet maltiness, but otherwise not much to taste.

Bottle. Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma is grain, honey, urine, hay. Flavor is medium sweet with grain, corn syrup, and some spice (anise?). Aftertaste is metallic, anise, and unpleasant.

Total Wine, Chantilly ($1.50ish): Pours a rather dark brownish color with a little brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, grain, and something else, which I have trouble explaining, but that is present in a number of beers. Somebody said medicinal... I think that might be it. Artificial fruit maybe (natural maybe, but one I am not familiar with?)... I don’t know. In any case, it wasn’t half bad. The beer has plenty of flavor and absolutely nothing negative about it. Not the most complex thing in the world, but refreshing and flavourful. A pleasant surprise.

320ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small to average frothy white head. Bitter hop aroma, a strawy note. Monotonous strawy taste, light body, if able denoting, then soapy "finish".

Stopped by Zeke’s roadhouse and was looking to get some odd country ratings. When I saw Philippines I was like hell yea, than when I found out I am finally getting a Malt Liquor rate I was more than enthused. Pours pale yellow with wet cardboard aroma but not in unpleasant way. Tastes super malty, and light hops, a touch of basement floor. I thought it was a fine beer for what it is. I was warned that this is strong by bartender he clearly doesn’t know me.

33cl bottle in Phnom Penh. Clear yellow with a white head. Very light aroma with just a hint of malt. Almost flavourless. Tasted almost like mineral water, but went don’t easy in the heat. Not much of a beer, but still drinkable. (2012-04-30)

33cl bottle in Siem Reap. Clear pale golden with a small white head. Light malty aroma with a hint of caramel and a faint hint of hops. Sweet with very little bitterness. Far from what we know as pils, but no unpleasant aromas or flavours. Easy to drink and quite nice in the heat. (2012-05-03)
