Bottle. Thx Maria. A clear, golden pour is topped by a small, white head. The flavor is quite weak, but for a malt liquor it isn’t bad. There’s some alcohol, but it’s not dominating, but the grains are. Alcohol, sweetness, grains and a little fruityness in the flavor, not much bitterness. Not in the finish either, that is more on the malty-sweet side. Medium body. Quite decent malt liquor, it actually surprised me a bit. (070719)

Strong aroma of figs. Dark brown pour, lots of carbonation, and a thick tan head, some lacing. Tastes of chocolate, figs, and hops, great balance. A little tinny and yeasty at times. Wonderful hop finish. Everytime I was going to set it down I found myself taking another sip.

Aroma of grass and corn. Brassy gold color with an enduring white head. A bit fizzy. Thin to medium bodied. Sort of a corn flavor. The finish is kind of herbally bitter. Probably as good as bud light.

No aroma, pale golden color and no head. Has a slight honey taste with some grains, but fairly unremarkable. No aftertaste. Good tasting beer, but otherwise it is rather mediocre.

Aroma of malt and corn or grass. Maybe a bit of herb or floral. Light brassy color with virtually no head. Starts malty, a bit thinnish, the alcohol is noticeable. Not finding much hop, but the finish has some sort of herby vegy finish that’s a bit bitter.

bottle - Pours very dark brown with a fast fading, one finger head. The aroma is a pretty good roast malt with a matching roast malt flavor that has a touch of dark fruit notes. It’s a little thin, but not bad really. There’s some light hops in the finish. Given how bad the regular San Miguels I drank in Spain was, I had very low expectations for this one.

Bottled, alc. 6.9%, brewed by San Miguel Thailand (bottled 01/2006)
Golden color, good white head. Cracker malty and alcoholic nose. Very watery - very weak palate. Mostly just alcohol and grainy malts. Only for drunks.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a fast disappearing white head. Very sweet malty aroma with some floral and alcohol hints. Sweet malty almond nutty flavor. Sweet malty finish and you can feel the warming from the alcohol.

A lot like the regular San Miguel, dark color, with small tanish head. Slight fruit, with caramel tones.
