15/03 A 0.32 l bottle brought home from Asian store in Mitte, Berlin. It poured golden body with medium sized head. Some hay and corn, so typical pale lager aroma. Sweetish corny flavor, very simple and watery with short finish that showed up some herbal bitterness, not really the best one. Nothing too bad here, but dull and easily forgettable. At least new country for me!

12 ounce bottle from Total Wine, Richmond, VA. I’m thankful this is in a brown bottle. Pours a very clear very pale yellow color. Large frothy head sticks around a while but has poor lacing. Aroma of sweet malts with a nutty, faintly grassy finish. Taste is cloyingly sweet artificial seeming malts, honey and a faint grassy finish. Thin-medium bodied. I could probably choke this down but it would be such an unenjoyable experience that down the drain it goes.

can, courtesy of Tony @ OTH. pours clear golden, white head. aroma mostly sweet pale malts, some wheat flavor, overly sweet, enhanced version of the pale pilsen, some extra malty notes, fizzy carbonation and the nasty use of corn starch to cover any bad use of ingredients and extra sweetner. Not bad, but just can’t stand the use of starch in beer.

can, courtesy of Tony @ OTH. pours golden, white head. aroma mostly pale malts, some wheat and sweetness. flavor, wheat and plenty of pale malts, light bitter hops. Where the whole beer falls short is in the clear indication of starch added to the mix. A quick way to ruin everything with chemically altered corn.

30th July 2008. Bottle from the Philippines. This generally is poor from anywhere else! Pale gold lager. Light and crisp. Watery but in a refreshing spritzer sort of way. Refreshing. A beer close to my heart as I drank loads of it in the Philippines. Sometimes even had this for breakfast when the water was suspect.

bottle - Pours pale yellow and a little hazy. It smells like grainy malt. It tastes of grainy malt and a hint of mild, cheap, skunky hops. It’s thin and has an unfortunate off flavor that seems to, if anything, get worse over time. Bleh. Pretty awful. Also if anyone cares the bottle says the ABV is 5%, not 4.13.
