(bottle, 32cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Slightly sweet malty aroma with subtle citric and grainy notes. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Shy grainy and slightly papery malty taste with traces of herbal hops far in the background; dry-ish finish with a whiff of herbal hops. Wow, almost drinkable after you have sampled Bintang, Saigon Export & Beerlao. 28.VIII.10

12 oz bottle into lager glass. Aroma is reminiscent of an English porter (Samuel Smith’s). Roasted malt, chocolate, bread come through. Pours a deep reddish brown with a medium head that dissipates too quickly and leaves hardly any lace. Taste is sweet and salty with no bitterness. Carbonation is medium-high. Very tasty.
