Pint bottle from Hoptimaal online store. Lote e validade 001 - Dez/2020. Validade 6 meses. So not exactly sure if this is fresh or not. Hazy yellow beer with good white and cloudy head. Aroma has mango and vanilla with sugar and toffee. Very sweet. Flavor has lot of fruits, mango mainly. Sweet, little sour twist at the end. Actually quite good, even if the huge mango twist is bit artificial.

Bottle from Chris M: black with beige head. Aroma is strawberry, roasted malts, some burnt toast. Taste has strawberry at the front, with a burnt toast finish.

Completely flat, no head. Coconut and chocolate on the nose. Oily, sweet, roasty, lots of coconut, coffee, some milk chocolate. A bit of an alcohol bite. Very nice.

310ml bottle. Jet black colour, no head. Roasty dark malty and nutty aroma, notes of dark chocolate, coconut, toasted coconut. Taste is nutty, roasty, slightly chocolately dark malty, lots of booze, notes of coconut, toasted coconut, a touch of dark chocolate and burnt coffee. Slightly viscous, but somehow surprisingly watery (or better alcohol-diluted) texture, smooth, soft, slightly cloying palate, soft carbonation; lingering, warming, alcoholic finish. Too alcoholic for rather mediocre outcome, neither overly rich nor deep or subtle; and as I am not a great fan of coconut - not my cup of tea.

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een diep zwart bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een stroperig en dik mondgevoel. De geur is gebrande mout en koffie. De smaak is esspresso, chocolade en vanille achtig.

Pitch black pour with a dark tan head. Notes of roasted coffee, roasted malts, bourbon, vanilla, wood, cinnamon, cocoa, bitter cherries, forest fruit. No idea what bourbon barrels they used to age this beer, but it's very similar to Four Roses, something I am enjoying quite a bit.
