Hazy, pale, bubbly head. This has a fairly dank aroma, with bright kiwi notes…the 1019 and motueka are dominant and I don’t even smell the citra. Thank Christ. Sweet, as is the Beere style, with moderate but vague hop expression. So the brightness of the aroma is diminished a fair bit on the palate. Lowish bitterness. A touch of stone fruit.

473ml can. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Fruity aroma of pale malt, orange peel, peach and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of pale malt, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pine resin and grassy hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Not what I'd call a west coast, but more of an east coast meets west coast blend.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy red pink with a small, creamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Aroma of bready pale malt, rhubarb, yogurt, strawberry jam and lacto. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, rhubarb, strawberry, raspberry, lemon, oats and lacto in a dry, sour, acidic finish. Light body with an oily to watery texture and average carbonation. Juicy and refreshing. Nice pucker power.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy bright reddish pink with a small white head. Aroma is very yogurty, with tons of lacto, light rhubarb, and sugar. Flavour is sweet and sour, with lots of rhubarb syrup, sugar, and lacto. Way too sweet and artificial. Just bad.

Opaque. Thin head. Aroma is a bit oniony. The body seems thin, low bitterness, not much hop expression, the whole presentation seems weak.

4oz pour at brewery. Pours murky pinkish red with white head. Aroma has sweet and stringent rhubarb. Flavour is quite sour, notes of rhubarb and strawberry jam. This one feels a bit haphazard.
