473 ml can. Pours a turbid whitish amber with moderate head. Aromas of melons, orange pith, and wheat. Flavors of earthy wheat, chalk, bitter fruit, and soap. Yuck. And a hazy without a proper label…

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy yellow with small white head. Subdued tropical hops, feint citrus, slightly underwhelming, but above average.

On tap at Steamworks Mt Pleasant, pours a cloudy dull yellow with a small white head. Aroma is hopburn galore (JFC), with tons of chalk — no trace of Nelson or anything pleasant. Flavour is basically nothing but hopburn — there's maybe some tanginess in there but the chalky hopburn leaves too much unpleasant bitterness. Nothing redeeming about this. Incompetent as usual.

473 ml can. Pours amber with moderate head. Aromas of grapefruit, nectarine skin, melons, soft pine and bright toasted malts. Flavors are more subtle; melons and pine. Bitter finish.

473mL can, pours a hazy bright golden with a small white head. Aroma has a herbal, oniony, and somewhat vegetal hop character; there's some grassiness in there too. Flavour is full of grassy hops, some vegetal bitterness, some allium, and grass. Not a very pleasant hop expression. Great that they're doing more WC stuff, but this needs much better dialing in in the hop expression.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg 05/03/2024). Clear yellow gold with white head. Mild citrus and pine hops, a little bit watery, just okay.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, bright, clean. The aroma shows some mild piney hops, and that's not bad. The mouthfeel is dry, but there is no interesting malt, no bread, no crackers; bitterness, some resins, but the hopping seems purposeless, a bit pithy without bright aromatics. Modern concept, but modest execution, maybe the ingredients were not of the best quality.

473ml can. Pours a murky orange gold with a small, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, tangerine, passionfruit, peach, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, green grape, passionfruit, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A little chalky, but still tasty.
