Tasting at Erik’s
Murky blond colour. Stone fruit, peach juiciness, powerful; not too chalky, quite sweet, with low bitterness, but very high final juiciness.
Very good.

32oz crowler (thx, Charles S.!) at Erik's. Maybe like 1 month old. Pours a cloudy blonde with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruits with toothpaste freshness. Taste is similar with some dirty notes. It's kind of missing a body for such a high ABV, but it's good.

Crowler, pours an opaque cloudy milky yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dank dry hops, some citrus notes, and light pine. Flavour is along the same lines, with dank dry hops, and plenty of yeast. Yeasty and dank. Very chalky and yeasty, but it works. Meh.

Cloudy, with a thick head. On the nose, there's a bit of gooseberry, a touch of peach, and a bit of yeast. Has a soft nose, light earthy, berryish hop, and an estery character. Decent.

Can - Nice leafy hops. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. Soft citrus and a nice creamy note. Soft and balanced.

Can: Poured a hazy and cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light sour notes with intense citrusy hops notes with some mango and passion fruit notes also easily noticeable. Taste is a powerful mix of sour notes with some intense hoppy notes of citrus with some mango and passion fruit notes also very much present. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Enjoyable but quite intense.

Can: Poured a completely hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit with some citrusy notes and light residual sugar notes is just incredible. Taste is also a mix of tropical fruits with some citrusy notes and residual sugar with no discernible bitterness. Body is full with good carbonation. Divine IIPA that I wish was available on a regular basis.

At the brewery, pours a slightly hazy light-yellow colour with a white cap, good stay and full creamy lacing. Mild Saison aromas with the lemon notes giving light sourness and Belgian ale yeast, adding sweetness. Hints of grass. Crisp and refreshing mouthfeel. The taste shows decent hops for a lower alcohol content with the citrus zest and grassiness. Quite a nice grisette.

Enjoyed at the brewery. Seems pitch black with a creamy dark beige head and nice creamy patches of lacing. Dark roasted malt aromas with the smokiness of the bourbon barrels. Dark fruit notes are also well-blended in there. Hints of coffee and chocolate. The bourbon comes out more in the taste with the light sweetness, balanced by the bitterness of the hops, in the finish. A nice warming roasted malt base. Wow! Not a fan of Jim Beam anymore (which are the barrel used) as too sweet, but in this one, quite nicely blended and with a decent bitterness. Bravo !!

Enjoyed at my first visit at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow colour with an off-white cap, decent stay and a little lacing. Pretty much orange juice for the nose with all those beautiful hops. More of the citrus zest in the taste showing a little more bitterness over the fruitiness. Hints of grassiness. Nicely dry mouthfeel, but still refreshing. A real smooth DIPA with lots of oranges. Juices and peel.
